ML2001 is a flexible braided graphite packing style that is constructed with pure homogenous graphite bonded to a carrier for strength and thermal stability. It has no added lubricants or binders to cook out or become brittle.

Recommended for rotating shafts where high speeds and thermal conductivity are required, including applications with unlimited shaft speeds.

ML2001 is suitable for shaft speeds up to Unlimited. The max temperature is 1200°F/649°C (in steam) and 850°F/454°C (in oxidizing conditions) and the pH range is 0-14 except in strong oxidizers.

1/2 inch ML560 braided packing.

ML560 is a high-performance, carbon fiber braided packing. It is manufactured through a heat treatment process of a synthetic yarn. These yarns are processed through multiple heat treatments to achieve the desired carbon or graphite content. Because of its high thermal conductivity and lubricity, this packing can operate without flush water in some applications.

ML560 braided packing is excellent in pumping slurries where the packing experiences premature failure. It is recommended for high-speed rotary pumps and slurry service, pumps and agitators in pulp and paper, mining, and other process industries.

ML560 is suitable for shaft speeds up to 4000 fpm. The max temperature is 1250°F / 538°C (in non-oxidizing conditions) and 850°F / 454°C (in oxidizing conditions) and the pH range is 0-14.

1/2 inch ML402 braided packing.

ML402 features a blend of synthetic fibers treated with specially formulated lubricants with a saxoline base.The lubrication formulation makes the extra difference for this style of packing. The ductile nature of the lubricant added prevents wicking and provides superior sealability. Each strand is individually coated with graphite and receives a final secondary surface coating of graphite after braiding.

ML402 braided packing is recommended for general service on rotary and reciprocating equipment in mild acids, alkalies, steam, brine, and oil.

ML402 is suitable for shaft speeds up to 1885 fpm. The max temperature is 450°F / 232°C and the pH range is 4-10.

1/2 inch flexible lantern ring made of 100% PTFE material.

A lantern ring is a perforated hollow ring located near the center of the stuffing box of a pump. Despite its simplistic appearance, it plays a crucial role in the successful operation of a pump system.

Placing a lantern ring between packing rings extends the life of the packing, the stuffing box, and the shaft. Ultimately, this increases the lifespan of the whole system long term.

Suitable for temperatures up to 550° F and pH 0 to 14.

Sold in roll form. Each roll is 48 inches long. Can be cut to the specific length needed, therefore eliminating the need to stock many different size rings.

1/2 inch 219 braided packing.

219 flax packing is constructed with a square braid, impregnated throughout with a pure PTFE dispersion, which acts as a surface leveler and fills in voids in the packing. The PTFE prevents wicking, and forms a protective shield around the flax fibers.

Recommended for brine, cold water, and cold oil and high shaft speeds. 219 flax packing is used on hydraulic rams, accumulators, reciprocating and rotary shafts, plungers, and stern tubes.

219 flax packing is suitable for shaft speeds up to 1885 fpm. The max temperature is 220°F / 104°C and the pH range is 5-9.

1/2 inch ML2225 braided packing.

ML2225 is saturated and sealed with PTFE particles, protecting the fibers from chemical action. A surface coating of PTFE is applied after braiding. To assure good break-in characteristics, a special high-temperature synthetic lubricant is added.

ML2225 braided packing is a great general service option for rotary and reciprocating pumps, and agitators. Recommended for brine, caustics, mild acids, difficult chemicals, air, gases, solvents, oils, and general chemical plant applications.

Suitable for shaft speeds up to 1850 fpm. The max temperature is 500°F / 260°C and the pH range is 3-11.

1/2 inch ML2235 braided packing.

ML2235 has prelubricated PTFE fibers to provide a softer, more flexible packing. The prelubrication offers improved peripheral speed characteristics and exothermic properties, unlike other PTFE fluorocarbon filament packing. ML2235 packing does not glaze in higher speed applications. It is inert and virtually indestructible with a low coefficient of friction and high compressive strength.

ML2235 braided packing is recommended for the most severe services. It is suitable for all oxidizers and corrosives except for molten alkali metals.
