Who We Are

Back in 1998, two guys had an idea to supply chrome plated rod, honed tubing, and other related fluid power products to hydraulic repair shops in the Southeastern United States. They started the business in a small warehouse in Bay Minette, Alabama with a leaky roof, one forklift, a trusty band saw, and some inventory. The vision was simple: stock inventory and provide the products that hydraulic repair shops need and ship them the same day at a competitive price.

After three years of giving customers what they wanted, the company decided to expand and build a newer, modern warehouse in Robertsdale, Alabama. We were able to increase our product inventories, install two overhead cranes, and have three band saws to increase our cut-to-length capacity. We also invested in sophisticated inventory and business management software to support our growth which helps us sell our products to companies all around the world.

In 2008, we met a guy that was a sealing expert. We decided that selling hydraulic seals would be a great product to offer to our existing customers and purchased the inventory to support those customer requirements.

In 2010 CRC was introduced to Trelleborg Sealing Solutions for some offshore tensioning repair projects. Over the years, our relationship with Trelleborg grew to include Orkot^® composite bearings. CRC is now the exclusive distributor for Orkot^® material in the Hydroelectric and Marine markets in North America. In 2021 CRC became an official Distribution Channel Partner for Trelleborg's sealing products in the United States. 

CRC now participates in the following market segments: Hydroelectric, Marine, Food & Beverage, Automotive Suspension, Oil & Gas, Steel Mill, Mobile Equipment, and other niche market segments.
