Drawn over mandel or cold drawn seamless honed tube. Material is stress-relief annealed and offers surface finishes commonly ordered 10-20 microinch. Can furnish skived and burnished ID-finished tube and chrome-plated OD and/or ID.

Applications
Used for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder manufacturing and pump barrels. Close tolerances and smooth surface finishes are critical in these applications.
Machinability
Materials can be readily machined, honed, skived, etc. as well as thermally treated to produce
a superior finished product.
Weldability
The absence of alloying elements in combination with the low manganese content makes
for easy welding.
Heat Treating
Can be heat treated.
